NEW CHILL STORE CREATES JOBS & CUTS INSURANCE COSTS FOR TALLAGHT CUSTOMERS
The new Chill Insurance retail store in Tallaght’s Square shopping centre, which opened today, is part of this Irish-owned insurance broker’s commitment to creating 100 new jobs in Ireland over the next three years.
The new insurance store, located on Level 2 in this busy shopping centre, will provide the people of Tallaght with better value by accessing quotes for insurance products from 14 different companies. Customers can get insurance policy quotes for cars, vans, household items, bicycles and health in a matter of minutes.
This is the fourth retail outlet opened by Chill Insurance this year. It will be open 7 days a week, facilitating Tallaght customers to call for advice and quotes when it suits them – at lunchtime, in the evenings or when they are doing their weekly shop.
Chill Insurance Sales and Product Manager, Ms Jo Fernandez said that by bringing the service to the customers, through these special retail outlets in busy shopping locations, the lo-call service and the web, the company has been able to increase market share and its workforce.
“Unlike other insurance brokers who opt to cut their workforces when the going gets tough, we in Chill Insurance get out there and aggressively go after the market. We know the Irish insurance market is buoyant and this is evident in the growth we have achieved over the past few years.
“We are supporting local businesses, increasing customer footfall into Tallaght Shopping and cutting the costs of insurance. By being in the community, we are also learning about the local requirements and developing propositions that will suit their needs.”
Ms Fernandez said that four new jobs had been created in this new Chill Insurance outlet in Tallaght. “This team is backed up by a comprehensive support crew at its headquarters. The new positions in Tallaght are some of the 100 jobs we are committed to creating over the next three years. The jobs will be a mixture of insurance, technology and back office roles to help cope with increased consumer demand. Currently over 60 staff are employed and this number will increase to over 160 over the next three years,” Ms Fernandez said.
